This is your chance to meet Edie Tolchin in person.  She is a longtime contributing editor to Inventor's Digest and an international trade consultant.  She will be at our December monthly meeting to tell us how to safely get things made in Asia.  She will be selling signed copies of her book, "Secrets of Successful Inventing" afterward for $21 ($20 cash).  Space and books are limited so we are asking you to use these tickets to RSVP to assure yourself a spot.  THESE FREE TICKETS DO NOT COVER ICCF MEMBERSHIP OR $5 ATTENDENCE FEE WHICH IS PAYABLE ON SITE.  Please see our website for more information. Edith G. Tolchin, is the author/editor of Secrets of Successful Inventing: From Concept to Commerce (Square One Publishers - www.secretsofsuccessfulinventing.com), the world's greatest book for novice inventors. Since 2000, she has interviewed hundreds of inventors, from young to old, for her column in Inventors Digest. With over forty years of experience in importing and international trade, Edie "invented" EGT Global Trading in 1997, with a goal to link U.S. inventors with Asian manufacturers, to provide an exclusive import service for sourcing, quality control, production testing and safety issues, manufacturing, international financing, air/ocean shipping, customs clearance arrangements, and dock-to-door delivery. Ms. Tolchin holds a prestigious U.S. Customs Broker License. She is an expert in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act's requirements for product safety issues, including all regulations and documentation. Edie also specializes in safe China sourcing and helping her clients work efficiently with China factories.  Here's what we expect to happen on Dec. 1. Our meeting will open under a non-disclosure agreement and everyone will be given a chance to briefly share their progress on their inventions. Ken Robinson will speak about the importance of a website and social media for inventors for the first 15-30 minutes of the presentation. Ed
