Garden Perennials for Florida - Survive or Thrive? Saturday, Sept. 22 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Perennial plants, as many gardeners know, are the mainstay of any home landscape. However, if you have moved here from somewhere else you know not everything you grew before grows well here. Many plants can simply SURVIVE while others THRIVE. Discover the beauty and durability of perennials with Robert Bowden, the Gardens' Director as he provides a fun-filled presentation/tour of "Garden Perennials for Florida." Instructor: Robert Bowden Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Florida Top Ten Garden Guide by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit.
