Macrame Hanging Shelf DIY For Adults Saturday, November 10 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Instructor: Victoria Bealke Macramake" your own Zig Zag Hanging Shelf for plants, books, or elf on a shelf.! Learn how to weave your fingers through a few useful knots to sculpt a beautiful and useful piece for your home or porch. A $10 materials fee will be due day of which will provide you with all the needed cord and materials, including the wood base to complete the hanger. You will also take home a booklet of hand drawn instructions to help you recreate each knot at home. The class is limited to 14 students and is recommended for adults and teens ages 14 and up. Victoria Bealke is a 3rd generation, Orlando-born Fiber Artist who works frequently under the name Macrame Momma. With a background in Art and Psychology from the University of Central Florida and Valencia Community College, she loves to bring the local community together with textiles. Victoria hosts various make and take fiber art classes and educational events in the Central Florida area, and facilitates educational programs at the Orlando Science Center. She also furthers her reach by offering custom, curated DIY kits for all ages online. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
